Home Depot stores in Southern California have long been an informal hub for day laborers in the country both legally and illegally who are seeking work.

My local HD has no day laborers, never has.

I’ve hired handyman services instead and they are all awful.

at a previous residence the local HD had a mobile home out front that was basically an office for hiring day laborers. It had bathrooms and a food truck/trailer. It looked like a well ran service.

I don’t care about someone’s visa status when I need a pile of rocks removed. These aren’t the people that are causing problems.

Maybe I’ll ask ICE if they are looking for work next time I’m at HD and need basic labor.

Sounds like a good place for upstanding citizens to go and “monitor” for when ICE shows up.

Sounds like a good place to mass molitov cocktails.

Just think of all the empty basements at local nanas’ homes now that these trogs have a boys club…

    That’s unfortunate.

I wish there were more jobs that could be taken on the spot instead of having to go through a bunch of auxiliary processes.
