Oh it mixes really well! You should try plain cream cheese (Frischkäse) with a chocolate spread of your choice. Mix it a bit on a slice of bread.
Milka even sold that premixed for a while, but it wasn’t as good as just doing it yourself.

I feel you. I type in three languages, and Gboard is the only one able to handle that.
I can’t wait for the day when I can finally ditch it

Am biologist, can confirm.
Best I saw so far were muddy rubber boots and muddy cargo pants.

11·7 months agoI don’t want to start a war here, but R has solved that already much better with the entire ggplot2 ecosystem.
ML applications are much better supported in Python, but for anything statistics related I would rather use R.
And unfortunately pretty buggy.
I still use it though

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Your entire life gets turned into a movie / short series by the best filmmaker in the world with unlimited budget, do you like your movie? How do you think people would rate it?

Well ok, if you count a research plan for a grant , I agree.
But I would see a grant application as separate from the job application, even though jobs then can be conditional on the grant.
I’ve at least never encountered an academic job, where there was only a grant application, and not also the standard job application process.
I assume that’s for assistant professor and higher, right? Because I’ve never encountered a postdoc application where you would have needed the long essay, just one page cover letter, CV, letters of recommendation, and diplomas.
I moved my family successfully to Signal a few years ago, and so far I’ve only very rarely encountered issues with video calls
Joke aside, there is a legitimate point to be made, because plant - herbivore interactions can be modeled similarly to predator - prey interactions. That also works to s certain degree for parasite - host interactions.
Being unable to die even if your health declines and you cannot afford healthcare sounds like proper torture to me. Sounds almost a bit like Prometheus.

The main thing of the app is to create widgets. If you open the app it’s just so many settings to tune your widget as you want it. The Dev is also super responsive, so if you miss a specific feature it’s worth reaching out
Meteogram, super customizable weather app. The subscription or one-time-for-life-payment allows access to all paid weather providers that are currently implemented

In elementary school in Germany (grade 1-4), we had one day when they were weighing the kids and our backpacks.
The point was not so much the weight of the kid, but that the backpack shouldn’t be more than x% of your body weight.
Nobody cared about it after that was done.
