It appears they are using the barrel of the rifle to break the window, which is even sillier than the other thing.

A300 Ultima Patrol for runner up 👍

Bingo, I’ve got a Comp Pro model 😎 hard to sell for $1800 MSRP on the low end when you can get a crap import pump action for $400. The A300 Ultima Patrol is also very good and probably easier to swallow for most people at $800ish.

I agree, and I have one because I’ve used it a million times, but I still can’t recommend it to newbies. I also appreciate the application of tungsten shot against drones. I think “non-lethal” drone shooting would be a really fun sport to replace clays or real birds.

Disagree on bonus points for shotgun. I know they’re simple and cheap, but operating a cheap pump action in high stress is not recommended and you’re guaranteed to short stroke it, plus recoil for new shooters is off-putting.
Tax stamps for suppressors are now 0 dollars but they still need ATF approval, and suppressors are unfortunately, not as affordable as they could be, but new options are on the way that should help.

You can deGoogle Android if you want, hopefully better alternatives, that don’t suck, like Linux Phone™ 🙏 arrive before too long.
Unfortunately due to the cloaca situation, butt stuff is inevitable.

Very cool Nature, I love it 👍

Are crabs still winning and is there a word like carcinization to describe the mammal -> anteater pipeline?

I never take notes, but I make frequent use of the glossary and search function on e-books to go back and refer to things I might have misunderstood or want to refresh my memory on

I just got to part 3 of Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry, what a ride, loving it so far.
I don’t usually read non-fiction but for a reading bingo card challenge at my local bookstore and I was blown away by Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green, it was fantastic.

I think I have seen this more commonly in technical documents than everyday English, maybe there is a reason for that or maybe it just sounds better in that context.

Isn’t water cooling also using conduction via a different medium? The hot components contact cool water which is heated and pumped away to be cooled by contact with a heat sink somewhere else or flushed and replaced with new water.

The PS3 was stupid expensive at launch, like $600 in 2006, nearly $1000 in 2026 dollars. But yeah I think that argument was made then also.
I think the PS2 was marketed specifically for DVD capabilities in some cases, I remember an IR dongle and remote control they sold so you didn’t have to use a controller.

I think the PS2 being so well sold is more impressive because the price adjusted for inflation is closer to $560, or $299 in the year 2000.
I think part of it was the idea that it could also be a DVD player so you wouldn’t need two devices that helped sell it if I recall correctly.
I second trying Mort first, Color of Magic was good but I loved Mort.

I know this is a shit post but I don’t get it.
More it seems unsafe than damaging to the rifle, but I guess they don’t care about that anyway?
