Whichever works best for you. I would recommend Wayland to anyone, but if you run into any problems with it (either bugs with your compositor or protocol limitations), then just use X11.

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•DOOM Eternal removed Denuvo and it plays great on Steam DeckEnglish
13·3 years agoSurprised that it still had Denuvo up until now. I’m pretty sure they accidentally released a Denuvo-free executable on the day the game launched so the game was pretty much cracked instantly.
I doubt Denuvo helped their initial sales at all. Doom Eternal is a good game and that’s what actually makes them money, not stopping the pirates out there.

6·3 years agoWhy should beginners approaching web development stay away from WASM? I’ve used it a few times to create online demos of software I made in Rust and it was a very simple and painless experience to get it working in a website. I consider myself a beginner and I have not run into any issues with it so far.

Technology@lemmy.world•Google gets its way, bakes a user-tracking ad platform directly into ChromeEnglish
71·3 years agoRather, use un-googled chromium. Brave is kind of bloated with all of the extra “features” they have.

Windows links are here. As for android, you’re right, it is not maintained anymore; the most similar still-maintained browser I could find is Cromite, but I’ve never used it before so I can’t comment on it.
