No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How does the SCOTUS ruling on presidential powers say what he can or what he can't do? Or can he basically do anything? Like kill a person or multiple people shooting a gun from the whitehouse?
2·1 month agoTBF he’d probably lose a few supporters if he gunned down someone. Just a few though.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it just me or does it seem Google is either AI filled or becoming obsolete? Is there an up and comer that can be what Google used to be? Or are we stuck oogling stuff forever?
2·1 month agoI quit Google. No longer use them for search, email, drive, or docs. They infested everything with AI and they bend the knee to fascists. I’m done.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Realistically speaking, how do you think the year 2063 will look like?
2·1 month agoI assume I’ll be dead by then so I tend not to think that far ahead.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Do you stay on vpn 24/7 or turn it on whenever you need it?
3·1 month agoI tend to do only when needed as it conflicts with some of the things I need to access locally on my network.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•What's the best Open-Source selfhostable Notion replacement?
1·4 months agoI liked AnyType but really missed having a browser-based application. I also had a hard time exporting my data out of AnyType.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•What's the best Open-Source selfhostable Notion replacement?
1·4 months agoI like NocoDB though the self-hosted version isn’t as complete as their hosted version. For my needs though it works quite well.
I did some math and the ones I printed probably came out cheaper than the online listing for 100 that a friend pointed me to.
I just printed a few hundred and donated them to a local organization in town. A friend of mine is working with them and I asked if they wanted whistles and they were happy to get them.
Yes. Mine has worked amazingly well.
I was new to doing reverse proxy stuff but Nginx Proxy Manager made it really easy. A bit of doc reading, I probably watched a video or two, and it all made sense. Great clean UI and easy to install. (I run it on a Raspberry Pi.)

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Does leaving a single board computer caseless can be a problem or not?
1·2 years agoI’ve never had an issue, but I’ve been careful with placement and handling.

4·2 years agoGreat use of 3D printing!
Yes. I work for a small company and we do give out business cards at events if someone asks or if we really hope they’ll follow up with us later. To me they often serve more as a helpful reminder more than a device to convey contact information.
Thank you for the comment!
Thanks for the comments! I really do appreciate the feedback.
Really nice work!

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What happens to my domain, website and email when I die?
12·2 years agoI started blogging in 1997 and still do today, and I would love for my writing and posts to live on after me, so I’ve been thinking more and more about this issue… Right now my idea is to write up a document about what needs to happen for it to continue, and hope my children consider it a worthwhile effort.

Amazing work!
