Once they get one of your passwords, you better hope you haven’t used the same one somewhere else. If they get access to any embarrassing photos you can expect an uncomfortable ransom request. You never really know how they’ll use your information against you but you can sure as hell bet that they will.

And those are just the illegal threats. The legal ones are worse imo.

Racism and hate. I’d love to address drivers tailgating (#1 cause of accidents, so easily preventable), or hating cyclists (every person who uses a bike instead of a car means less road congestion, less waiting, not more).

But I think addressing racism would have a bigger impact right now - we’re genetically the same, cultural differences are compatible, bad journalism and social media prods us to get angry, treating others like shit only makes others do the same, etc.

I’ll add that we use the mercator projection because it preserves shapes but not scale. There’s other projections that preserve scale but not shapes.

And since the US is locked into a 2 party system, you only get 1 chance to beat the Republicans, so the Democrats need to be realistic and represent all voters of today, not the idealised future.

The Democrats need to be real and nominate people who Republicans might actually consider.

I really don’t think screens are the problem. It’s how you use them. Too much of one particular thing is bad (i.e. doomscrolling), but there’s nothing wrong with lots of different things with reasonable breaks.

Pop OS. I don’t even like Mac OS but Pop just feels so good! I’ve used it on 3 different computers now without problems. Ubuntu tutorials usually work if you need to tweak something. Only downside is it’s a private company, but it’s released free and is well supported.
