@CodenameDarlen@lemmy.world and plus, most of the time, when you’re buying indie games from steam, they’re drm-free, so you can play them offline, run them without steam running in the background.
honestly, I have no more hope in the AAA games, since it will be the same game over and over again with different skins or slight UI tweaks. there’s nothing much Steam can do at this point, because it’s the business model of these companies in the end. It’s time to give back all the money wasted on these AAA games to indie titles now, it’s well deserved…:bilibili_dianzan:
@LadyButterfly@reddthat.com indeed. congrats:ablobcatfloofpat:
now, prepare for Monday… no slacking allowed…

@LadyButterfly@reddthat.com the year is almost ended, and there’s still a lot of stuff to do :ablobcatcry:

@cm0002@lemmy.world methinks Valve was not ready for this/didnt expect for this to happen :ablobcatpeek:
@memes@lemmy.world

@very_well_lost@lemmy.world The pre-order wasnt the main point of the post. I agree they are trash… You are based:blob_love:

@Jaeger86@lemmy.world bruh, at this moment, EA has become too synonymous with MTX… :aru_0280:
@games@lemmy.world

@TabbsTheBat@pawb.social But yeah, shouldn’t get our hopes too high, after all this is EA we are talking about…

@NeatNit@discuss.tchncs.de thats actually kinda neat :bilibili_dalao:

@madjo@feddit.nl one thing about Indians is that:
we will write something which probably makes sense to us but dont know what it means also, and we expect others will understand it too.
What is written is written…

@ICastFist@programming.dev misskey is the og …

@Fizz@lemmy.nz there are many english misskey servers, you just need to spend like a day looking for them (Yeah, easier to just sign up at an english lemmy server, but since i like misskey UI, worth the search)

yeah, some replies might not be synced over to your server if you dont mention @memes@lemmy.world if youre from non-threadiverse software. Just discovered this.

@Dreaming_Novaling@lemmy.zip but that’s why i like Misskey :), its kinda chaotic.
And idk if im blind or something, but ive never found loli on my server before.
But what misskey lacks is communities. Sure there’s channels, but they need to federate with Lemmy/PieFed communities too…

@Justdaveisfine@midwest.social it’s not that it is better. Idk if you saw the satire title or not, but this was a joke.
It’s just a personal preference. No platform is above another, in the fediverse everyone is equal:)
But the main difference is that Misskey doesnt have an API, so native apps can’t be built (if im not mistaken), so they make their web app better optimized.
Mastodon however has the options of having many clients. I think that’s the main difference.
I felt like Deltarune was a bit lacklustre compared to Undertale. Even though Undertale had very basic gameplay, it did a good job in implementing that. Deltarune feels too over the place. Undertale had a better story as well. Might just be me though. :ablobcatblink:
