51·10 months agoWhat sucks is on the way down, between Trump’s tariff and preference for ICEs and foreign markets retaliating, he’ll take down the other US EV players. The ones run by what seems like genuinely nice people like Rivian and Lucid.
In the greater scheme of things it wouldn’t matter so much, but quite a shame.
We need more data, but ultra-marathons could be such events

Depending on the intricacies of tax treaties you probably won’t pay much US tax after moving to a high taxation country. Relinquishing US citizenship when you are wealthy means paying the capital gains exit tax on your worldwide assets though so if you can afford good accountants, keeping both is probably easier
