T’was the tism m’lord
A quick scan will show it ofcourse. But it stops bots and stuff just hitting “known” ports. I’ve not had any issues in the months it’s been active compared to the previous month’s I just used the standard port
I do. I run it behind a caddy service so it’s secured with an SSL. The port is running on a high non standard one. I do keep checking access logs but haven’t had a peep apart from the 1 person I shared it with

He handled it like a champ. Just smiled and carried on

Have done this several times. I have never had to do anything else. I just swap em and boot.
Everyone’s welcome to the party pal

I used to run an HDD with an SSD cache. It’s deffo not as fast as a normal SSD. NVMe storage is also very cheap. You can get a 2tb NVMe for the same price as SATA.
In all honesty, I’d just keep things simple and go for a SSD.

Oh that’s a shame. This is the one I’ve got and it’s been perfect: https://shop.8bitdo.com/products/8bitdo-ultimate-2-4g-controller-with-charging-dock-hall-effect-joysticks

I run Fedora, No issues with dongle. All are detected as Xbox controller (atleast by Steam). This is the one I got: https://shop.8bitdo.com/products/8bitdo-ultimate-2-4g-controller-with-charging-dock-hall-effect-joysticks
