People could give things a name and write down what type of thing it is.
I am using it on an Intel J5005 with SATA SSDs, managed through Docker. Works flawlessly.
If I were to upgrade, I would choose a board with a modern PCIe 4.0 M.2 Slot, because i’d like to put the database on fast NVME storage.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What didn't you understand before about why certain things are but now do because of your experience?Deutsch
1·1 year agoYeah, but that’s only really true for the things you use often, isn’t it? Sometimes you just need something that gets the work done and it’s okay if it takes a little more effort than using the premium one because you can’t justify spending that much for a one time use. Especially so if you need more than one specialty tool, because that adds up quickly.
Remember to unclick your buttons if you’re not paying for premium clicks. You wouldn’t want to continously keep reordering toilet paper from Amazon, would you?
Nah, I already got the 24,99 family plan that includes 500 premium clicks every month. I just hope they don’t follow through with their crackdown on account sharing.

3·2 years agoReally cool! An interesting concept well executed. Sadly has the same problem every new messenger has - barely any users.
But that’s hardly their fault.

3·2 years agoPretty cool, I use it as well. Works with basically everything thanks to the big community.
I just wish it allowed for proper programming of the automations. I despise the YAML-as-code hack they are using. I get it, it’s much easier to offer a GUI editor for such a format. It feels very limited and cumbersome compared to regular programming though.

3·2 years agoOr a somewhat recent Intel Computer, maybe around 2017 onwards or even older. It can absolutely be a low-tier device As long as the processor has Intel Quicksync it’ll be a breeze to do live transcoding. No dedicated graphics necessary!

Yes, ideally you air it out first before letting the moisture get trapped. But between waking up and getting out of the bathroom is all the time I am willing to delay making the bed. I wanna move on and not be stuck in “morning mode” forever (unless it’s the weekend).
