Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2 - A USB adapter that plugs into your Home Assistant system and opens up a world of smart device optionsEnglish
3·4 months agoAll of the MR devices AFAIK. It’s working mostly well so far. But my scope is limited as I have only one thread device so far. The bigger benefit for slzb devices is that they are wholly decoupled from the machine running zha/z2m, plus PoE, wifi and BLE proxies are nice features. The downside is, it’s not open hardware.

Technology@beehaw.org•evcc - Solar Charging ☀️🚘 - Connects Your EV Charger With Your PV System
1·5 months agoWhile the software itself is FOSS, you actually are required to have a subscription (even though they call it donations), otherwise you essentially can’t use any wall box. Check the list of wall boxes for ones without sponsorship. Otherwise pretty good, usable even. Just remember that you should have more than $2/Month in excess solar and a car home at said time for it to make financial sense.

Note that this was about a diseases a little more serious than a little cough. Mostly tuberculosis, also helping with insomnia from the same.

11·1 year agoI was a bit cautious because of the “source-available” code. But it’s just a standard CC-BY-NC-SA. So no problems there.

If you are not on the warpath with Webauthn I can highly recommend PocketID. It’s just so damn convenient. But note that the arrs don’t come with a good solution for oidc login. But you can use something like tinyauth or an auth forwarder in your reverse proxy. Bitwarden will work fine but of course still require a master key to unlock the vault itself.
