1·1 year agoSame. My first "smart"phone was a Nokia N95 and I had so much excitement back then Then I realized: hey man, I can’t actually do anything that I need to do on this thing… But at least it takes really nice photos?

91·1 year agoWhen does our wake-up call come that this behavior, which keeps happening, over and over? Is also human nature. Like, we want to blame the leaders, and it is their fault…but not exclusively. We have parts of our nature we’re unwilling to address. We want to cut it out like a cancer, which sounds great…but it’s not a tumor… it’s everywhere…every country, every society… everywhere…

18·1 year agoI appreciate that Android changed from an opt-out to an opt-in model when it comes to notification permissions, but it’s still not enough. I can’t believe the mobile OS world became so much worse than actual computing. What a corporate hell scape.

It’s so wild how laws just have no idea what to do with you if you just add one layer of proxy. “Nooo I’m not stealing and plagerizing, it’s the AI doing it!”
