  • One of the founding principles is the freedom of speech and freedom of expression. So if anything they are representing the USA. If a group of pedos get to rule this country without censorship then Olympians can be athletes and speak their minds.

BTW, calling Jake Paul a boxer is like calling my grandma a boxer. I guess that’s what you call someone that puts on the gloves and becomes a punching bag for a real boxer.

  • I love this idea, but wait which bridge?

Like DS9 where everyone is all over place and shouting to be heard? Like NX01 and TOS where everyone is facing away from each other and have to spin around to make eye contact because the cap likes to look at the backs of people’s heads? Like DISC where everyone is spread so far apart (like they have cooties) and away from the captain that she can’t even remember who’s on duty and everyone but the helms women and the cap have to stand the whole time? Like VOY and TNG where everyone has assigned seats and can actually see the TV (view screen)?

  • Aside from personal preference you shouldn’t sleep in the nude because encase of emergency you may need to run out to render assistance to a family member at night and you don’t want to traumatized your kids or grandma. Also people shed and sweat in their sleep so unless you are changing your bed coverings every couple of days then you’ll be sleeping in you own filth, with pajamas at least the contamination will be kept to a minimum.

  • Are you offering?

Assuming I live for another 30years, around $3mil to semi retire and $5mil to fully retire today. At least until I can fully draw from social security (if it still exists) and from 401k/IRAs.

But I don’t plan to retire. I plan to work until I can’t then give my wife and kids everything left. I have no reason to live except to ensure that I have given my family the best life I can within my means, assuming my spending vices don’t get the better of me.

  • I still visit Reddit occasionally for old niche tech support, but that’s about it. Tried Voat but it was dead on arrival.

    Here’s a list -

Lose of RiF was the last straw.

    Inconsistent censorship.

    Mods targeting users.

    Promoted ads disguised content

Hive mind comment bombing and down voting

    Lack of understanding or reason

    Gatekeeping by mods and users

    Spam bots

    Achievements and robot challenges

Reposting/resharing the same memes over and over like it was new content.

  • I do think they are onto something. I just want a dishwasher that washes dishes, a dryer that just dries, a refrigerator that refrigerates. I don’t need another camera and tablet or more “smart” crap in my home, it’s just one more thing to break or need updating. I just need things that work reliablely when I need them to work.

Also, less plastic in the manufacturing material would be great. Just me thinking out loud but it also seems like it would be easier to control the life span by using plastic because you can play with the chemistry to start breaking down at a certain amount of usage and temperature and age.

  • A place to put a switch and wiring harness having a couple extra wires doesn’t mean they put the parts in to make it functional. A standardized console and wiring harness is logical because it’s cheaper, installing heated seats or 4x4 drive tran is not. The vehicle usually doesn’t get part for the options installed until it’s ordered so it doesn’t make sense to make a unique part or wire harness for a small percentage of vehicles. The subscription based model just proves how effective and profitable it is, just a portion of car owners paying for it will make them enough money to justify putting it in every vehicle.

Heated seats probably costs them around a few hundred dollars a seat and if you pay a subscription for the life of the car then they will make tens of thousands back.
