Do Bosch tools not exist outside of Germany? Here the professional (blue) line is pretty much on par with hilti and Makita in terms of quality if not better depending on the type of tool

It’s really just hyperloop 2.0 in order to not improve the classic public transportation

If people would demand other industries to be more in line with their moral values (like about climate change) that could also change a lot

3·2 years agoIt’s basically the same kind of treatment the paparazzi and yellow press are giving prominent people and somehow it’s okay then just because they are famous.
But for decades that was normalized because people were buying it and now it’s spreading to other areas as well
The problem is that without those exclusive deals noone would change
Most people didn’t buy EA games at origin or Ubisoft games at UPlay even though you needed those launchers anyway. They even didn’t buy CDProjekt games at gog despite the games being dem free there.
Excluding deals on sought after games is literally the only way to get a majority of the players moving away from there comfortable “I have ally games and friends there already” position
People are lazy and hate change - without force it’s not going to happen
Let’s also not forget that game developers have no choice but to release on steam if they want to have any chance on breaking even since they have that huge of a market share and that Epic challenging that already lead to better deals for developers since Valve hat virtually free reign before
I was talking about the global 1% since that’s usually what those kind of stats are aimed at
Yeah - everyone is shitting on the top 1% here in Germany until they realize that half the population here makes it into that percentile and suddenly it’s the 0,1% that’s the problem.
It’s all about putting the blame on someone else so you don’t have to question if you might be a little bit responsible, too, with your lifestyle…

Sure it’s good quality but not better than what you get for half the price and not even close to the custom tailored stuff the really rich people wear…
Really don’t understand how people spend a fortune to walk around advertising for Gucci, LV, etc…

One of the reasons is probably the same why Tesla isn’t releasing their Cybertruck outside of the us - the Crash-Tests there just don’t factor in pedestrian survival rates if they are hit by the car that you want to release on the market. Most of those giant trucks don’t make it here because they’d just run over any pedestrian they hit without them having any chance of survival even at low speeds.
Add to that the totally car-centered infrastructure that basically punishes everyone not in a car and you have the perfect storm for dead pedestrians and bikers…
