Are you doing videos with audio or are you planning to caption gifs?
If the latter, you can upload the video to imgur and grab a .gifv link that is basically a wrapped video file. Not FOSS though.
Odd, but yea I could see that. You can tack on a .gifv instead of .gif with imgur and you’ll get the webm version, much smaller typically (or mp4).
When I used to mod on startrekgifs we had a similar rule of no more than 4 posts in 24 hrs. Pain to check but definitely keeps the quality of content up 👍.

Ok not sure how best to do this, tried posting as a gif and gifv and I just see it as a static image on phone and on browser. It’s a gif that should be looping…

I have a fun issue. I want to be on Linux but for whatever reason there is no audio support (and I’m not able to add code to the kernel to fix it) for my Lenovo Legion 7.
Seems to only be affecting a certain chipset but no audio is a problem. Bluetooth at least works but that isn’t good enough unfortunately.
