Initially I thought this would be about the Chat Control law and dodging end-to-end encryption. Turns out it’s just a clever little joke.

It’s good to be reminded sometimes that not everything is fucked up and there’s still room for a bit of fun.

Did anyone there experience it as a positive stay or expect a positive outcome at the end? It doesn’t really sound like a healthy place to be. Especially if you have problems.

I wouldn’t say really positive. But it changed a daily slightly negative into a daily slightly positive.

At work I regularly need to take short notes. I like to fill the page to the full. But it gets messier and more complicated aa the day goes on. So I’d strike through and cross out notes I don’t need anymore.
The thing is, crossing things out triggers a feeling of making mistakes. So instead of crossing out I started using check-marks (Dutch-style)., which feels like a succes and is also a quick fun flourish to draw. So small annoyances have turned into small victories.

Aside from the design of the flags, scrolling through these ones felt a bit like a colour blind test. Especially the demi-flags.

To check whether it’s raining

Would it see a car driving towards it or would it see a car reversing away from it?

Trump is just the convenient caricature of a puppet pushed forward to be the face and disorganise everything. When he dies he’ll be replaced by someone else capable of filling that role. It wouldn’t surprise me if the follow-up person is already known in their circles.

Trump is old and messed up. The propaganda rocketing him up can just as easily shoot him down. He is here to do damage and to disrupt and corrupt the system. He’s here to weed out the failsafes against fascism/monarchy so a new political model can take over.

When he’s done enough, someone else will step forward to rebuild and ‘repair the damage’ but only in such a way that the fascist/oligarchy gains more power and the majority of people lose more power.

The fact that commercials are seen as anything else than annoying is already strange to me. But reading that it really is seen as an entertaining part of the Super Bowl takes it to a whole other level.
