I watched SSS stream the game and kinda wish I wouldn’t have watched. Gonna wait a bit so I forget some of the puzzles then check it out. Such a beautiful, and interesting game.

14·3 years agoI beleive SO recently switched from fastly to cloudflare, and some of the DNS records are taking time to catch up. If you having the same problem try flushing your DNS cache and the issue should be resolved.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are some YouTube channels which follow pre-monetisation ethos?
10·3 years agoI’m surprised no one has mentioned Cody’s Lab. He’s been on YouTube for a very long time, never seen him have ads or do sponsors or anything. He also frequently gets screwed over by YouTube due to his content (lots of chemistry) but has always managed to keep making videos.
I’m dumb lol, I use KES and it displays the domain unless their on the same domain (?) so I didn’t see anything after their username and figured I’d ask

World News@lemmy.world•Canada launches warning labels on each cigarette
32·3 years agoExactly, if you made them illegal you would open up a huge black market while making the products likely more dangerous. This would put further strain on our healthcare system, while decrease funding as the government would no longer be getting taxes on the sale of cigarettes.

Programming@beehaw.org•Best way to start coding indie games?
3·3 years agoGodot is really lightweight and the scripting (gdscript) is similar to python. It can be a bit rough around the edges but is my go to when making small games.
The documentation is pretty good, but nowhere near as available as something like unity. If I can’t find something in the docs,I’ve been using https://www.phind.com/ to generate a snippet which does a pretty good job of getting me going.
I’m by no means an expert, but if you have any questions feel free to reach out and I’ll help if I can!
