Noo, Wetherspoons is Pro-Brexit? That sucks, had no idea. TBF, I’m German and haven’t been in 10 years either, but my Bro studied in London for 2 years back then and I visited him 2-3 times. used to be, but in the last couole of years Legos quality has only gone down, while the price stayed high. Lego now has the same ‘quality issues’ that the other manufacturers have at more than double the price. Lego includes ugly stickers in $500+ ‘Ultimate Collector Sets’, which is just a joke, while the competition has printed bricks in most sets these days (super cheap sets still have stickers).
Explanation: Up until 2010 LEGO had a trademark/copyright on their Bricks, but a EU Court decided that the interlocking design can’t be trademarked as a ‘functional, technical shape’. Before then, mostly incredibly cheap Chinese knockoffs existed, since then other manufacturers have been improving quality control and in some cases surpassing LEGO now.

Silksong - I played like 2h of Hollow Knight many years ago, then took a small break, but was so lost when I returned that I never touched it again, until Silksong got a release date and the hype made me check it out again. Amazing game and Silksong is even better. I 100% Silksong and I’m super excited for the free DLC next year. I kind of rushed Hollow Knight though, so I might return for some late-game stuff.
DK Bananza - honestly didn’t expect to to enjoy it as much as I did, really fun and creative 3D platformer with some of the best and smoothest movements in any of them.
Expedition 33 - Honestly this was mostly off my radar for most of the year. I had heard about it now and then, but the turn based combat didn’t sound appealing to me. When it was nominated for more VGA awards then any game before it, I checked it out as well. Also an absolute banger. Great Art, Story and the turn based combat is a lot more fun than I thought it would be, really in depth to get the most out of each character. While J personally enjoyed Silksong the most this year, I can definitely understand the hype around it
I’m also looking forward to playing metroid prime 4, probably some.time next year
as far as Minecraft content goes, check out Kolanii. He only uploads only every couple of months, but thats because you can tell he actually spends all that time one the video…
He started out with One Block Skyblock stuff, then did absolutely insane builds in Hardcore and has recently transitioned into a whole Kolanii cinematic universe in his Hardcore World. If your mainly interested in that, start with the an AI joined my World video, uploaded about a year ago

You sure its dead? My 2 year old pixel was also having issues charging, but I simply used SIM tray tool to poke around the charging port and got A LOT of lint out of it and its as good as new

Looks like most people are using GloriousEggroll’s version of Proton (ProtonGE) and some are using launch options to disable the EA Launcher.
GE works on Wine at Red Hat and is thus very knowledgeable about windows translations and the stuff he changes about Valves Proton are often merged down the line, its like an unofficial beta release and I’ve had good a experience with his proton Versions.
That said, to actually get custom Proton Versions I use “ProtonUp-Qt”(available as flatpak): https://davidotek.github.io/protonup-qt/
Which downloads different Proton Versions and manages them for you. You can then set the default for all games in the steam settings, or on a game-by-game basis
honestly I wouldn’t mind it taking 12 hours, but it also being more expensive just doesn’t make any sense at all. Europe needs to stop subsidizing air travel and needs to up its rail subsidies

$80-90 (90-100€) Deluxe Edition that includes like 20% of the total cars and like a week earlier access

Plus some pre-order exclusive cars and cosmetics
I’m not sure if they’re concerned with Saturo Shibata directly, it’s just that under Reggie, Nintendo of America pushed hard for stuff like free Wii Sports and cheaper prices (which worked great, making the Wii a huge success), while the Nintendo Japan was of the opinion that nothing should ever be given away for free.
Under Bowser, Nintendo of America fell in line behind Japan. Culminating in stuff like the welcome tour for the Nintendo Switch 2, something that is just a tech demo of the device you just spent $400+ on, costing $10.
Having Saturo Shibata as CEO, it seems this will get worse, not better, since Nintendo Japan is excerting more control over NoA.

other than the compressor the other comment mentioned, having a proper AV with multiple channels can also help with a lot of media, at least stuff that was mastered properly. Usually the center speaker carries mostly the dialogue and not much else, so I boost it like 7-8dB, this works pretty well for most things on Netflix and co, but Stereo (no center channel to boost) and shitty mastering (too much noise in center channel) still have the same issues
