Your question is too vague. It all depends on what you consider an acceptable lifestyle and also what area of the world plays a huge part.

I think the person you are responding to means that while it is legal for civilians to purchase in the US they do not believe it is legal for anyone in Mexico but the Mexican military to possess

I am not sure if I should hate agreeing with people I hate.

New CEO promises to bring AI to Firefox
Mozilla names insider Enzor-DeMeo as CEO, looks to add AI features to Firefox

You did read where they said charismatic, right?
Vance’s “charisma” couldn’t fight it’s way out of a paper bag.

The nazi call is coming from inside the House!

They are not very accurate. You’re more likely to get yelled at by a NCO(non commissioned officer) than by an officer on a day to day basis. Most officers are like middle managers until you hit the O-5 to O-6 rank. Officers give out orders, NCOs carryout orders using junior enlisted personnel. Most harassment stops outside of basic/advanced training, unless someone in your unit gets in trouble and then they might do a mass punishment where everyone is cleaning the barracks on a Friday night or over the weekend. I’m white, so I can’t speak much to the discrimination part, other than it didn’t happen much in the jobs that I was in. I’m positive it happens, but it didn’t happen out in the open when I was in. Obviously the current administration for the US government is changing that a bit. I can’t speak for the person you asked the question to, but I had two combat deployments and two trips to South Korea, with a solid bit of PTSD from the deployments.

The graph shows deaths. I’m sure there are quite a few more collisions that don’t end in death, but possibly severe and lasting disabilities. You don’t see a lot of subway cars colliding with other subway cars. I’m sure plenty of people run into buses though.

All US military personnel are obligated to follow all lawful orders. Until the supreme courts rule that what he does is illegal and someone enforces that, what is a military person supposed to do? Unlike most jobs you can’t just quit and if you disobey a “lawful” order then you will likely be kicked out, lose your source of income and any benefits, and probably end up with a bad conduct or dishonorable discharge which is like a felony on your record.
As a veteran myself, I am also quite ashamed of what is going on. These people are stuck and have much more at stake than the general population if they disobey or quit. I’d be about as ashamed to work at a place like Tesla or SpaceX for another Nazi, but you don’t expect Tesla employees to stand up to musk and overthrow his regime.
It feels like a very aggressive title for this post.

Those peasants should be happy management thought about them at all

They should post this picture at every rural hospital they close.

More power to yah, my friend. I imagine you can only point to anecdotal evidence to support any of your claims. Let me know if you need me to do some research for you on all the studies that show unions have an overall positive effect for all it’s members, and non members who just complain. I get that some union leadership might suck, but I would point you back to the first post where maybe you should do something about it.
I won’t even make you pay dues for the first link

I can respect some aspects of that. Not everyone is meant to or even cut out to lead. Good on you for realizing that about yourself.
What I don’t understand is how you see the obvious benefits of a union, and how a small portion of your pay check could go a long way to making your own benefits better including increasing your overall pay so that union due are less of a burden on your budget. No one said you had to be in charge. Find one other person who agrees that unions can be/do better and get them to run, because not ever person out there wants to be a greedy mob boss style union leader. A union is about to be the only thing standing between you, and that CEO thinking you’re little more than slave labor, because this administration is dismantling as many consumer and worker protections as it can.

Be the change that you want to see. You point out all these things they are doing wrong, have you tried running for a union leadership position and changing the things you see they are doing wrong?

If only there was a name for a group of employees getting together to ask management for some collective bargaining or something.
