less than 10k per cat. That’s probably enough to feed for 2-3 years and then put down.

How is play dumb the wildcard? If they had anything on OP they had him already fired. German chancellor used the prase “i dont remember” in court to get away scoff free from the biggest tax fraud case in german history. If they have anything on you, they’ll use it anyway. Saying anything besides “i dont remember taking food” is self incrimination. OP should be prepared to know the process of discarding food at the end of the shift though.

World News@lemmy.world•China's Housing Crash Just Wiped Out 20 Years of Price GrowthEnglish
422·2 days agoBuilding and renting out should be profitable. Else nothing is built for renters. Problem is companies buying homes (not building) and try to bribe local politics to upgrade zoning laws for more profitable housing (more flats per m2 land, less living quality). There are cases where lots should be merged for upgrading zonings but this should come from the communities needs not companies’ greeds.

71·3 days agoI too think there is some satirical note to it but we have seen it all. An office flirt opens more doors than excel sheets can ever do. Also people react wayy differently to you whether you are attractive or not. Probably in antrophic expectation of implicit reproduction possibilities. I’ve seen both sides, however once you make clear there’s nothing going on besides professionalism the drop is harder as attractive person vs. getting no attention as ogre.

9·3 days agoThey are doing late nights after all. Also, at one point of whoring yourself out you should be in a comfy position, no? Thinking of that head of HR and CEO on the coldplay gig. Like, how many people’s genitals you wanna lick until they finally give you the title “head of”. At some point being an escort must be more profitable.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Where to start researching topics onlineEnglish
2·9 days agoreally depends how serious/deep you want to research. start with wikipedia. i catch myself asking the AI for a basic understanding and further sources. if you really want to dig deep try to find universities with public curicullum. They just list the reviewed literature they build their courses on. At last, for scientific research there are peer reviewed papers but i felt like many of them are mixed quality and just a means for graduation of doctorands. So books should accumulate the good ones and their findings in a coherent way after all.

151·11 days agoWho has the time to play in the metaverse? To actually put up with VR or normal gaming even you need to have 1+ consecutive hours to spend. Grown ups dont have that kind of time. You’ll always have the risk of the mother changing mind and keep the kid i think. Children need their mother. Trying to force that life on a child because that’s your lifestyle is not selfish, it’s psycho.
The whole game around finding someone you actually like has a reason. The resulting child will have traits of both parents. Of course some of our character is due to experience but you underestimate how much of it is imprinted.
