Should be very possible. Are you on Linux or Windows? Please write me again at the end of the week if I didn’t come back to you.

I quoted the link. I do not have more insights.

Always backup your tools folder… In the past I only created backups for my “real” code folder and I was quite upset when I lost my small scripts in the last drive death.

Looks great! I might now what I get for christmas :) just have to double check that UK hasn’t heavily changed their guarantee laws since leaving the EU and that shipping is survivable.

That’s really nice! pinetime looks great, but is currently out of stock. I tried finding an open source smart watch before, but only found pebbles which doesn’t market for the EU.
Still have other replies to read but likely I’ll just wait for pinetime to be stocked again.

I read your post as a personal attack. Not report worthy, but not worthy to indulge. Good luck though :)

This comment also says more about you than me. Not so seriously.

Inkscape was hell for me when I tried it years ago. I just had no clue where to find stuff and how to navigate properly. Maybe I have to give it another try.

I carefully agree. I don’t think paid advertisment is the solution here though. Regarding PeerTube having unlimited upload capabilities and a prominent “Support us!” button would be enough imho. However, unlimited upload is not feasible for most instances as storage costs are not always covered by instance donations.

I was unable to find contact information quickly, but I highly doubt that they are willing to do that. I just can’t see them going “Yea, we thought 30 days are fine. Let’s give you a year (or two)”

ricecake gave a good answer already. In the EU you have 2 years. In the first 12 months the company has to prove that it wasn’t their fault, in the next 12 months you have to prove it was their fault.
If no such law is in place, nothing protects you from them using cheap materials that break after a few months.
E.g. I once had a free xbox-replica controller every year because their product was shit and it broke after ~6-9 months. They had to replace it and did so three times. Then I got my money back. Selling * doesn’t work here.
It’s like a second penis. Interesting, Unnecessary, Sonething to not pull out in public and to keep away from kids.
If I could press a button to make all religions disappear, I would.
Back in the days I was an anti-theist. Nowadays I just hate religion and think it did primarily bad things. (btw. in Germany the catholic church tried to sue someone for calling them “children-fucker-cult” and they failed - primarily because of formalities though; case is a bit more complex than that but who cares)

Either you are misunderstanding something or I am. I don’t think Gewährleistung applies here because it is not sold to the German market but instead you import it from the American market.

I get baited every time :( thinking “Ah! Finally a watch I can buy!” Then I, again, see the 30 day warranty (that would be illegal in my country) and remember that this is not a good buy for me. Good luck to all buyers.

Yea, CCC actually has a huge problem by being too ethical. Apparently they had cases were the data protection authority did not force companies to disclose the leak because access by CCC does not constitute access by a malicious third party; absolutely bonkers. Just because the malicious party didn’t open their mouth doesn’t mean they haven’t accessed the data, you pigeon.

Volkswagen (VW) had a massive scandal that showed how dangerous this is. By leaking driving behaviour, VW leaked hidden military bases, politicians likely visiting prostitutes and more. Lucky for them ethical hackers (CCC) found that and did not use the data.
Fair. I am not sure what that means but probably: Valve PC Sales > Each Separate Console Sale
Yea, that’s unlikely but not impossible.
a sizable spot is a win no?
Can you make it a playlist and add all suggested songs? Would love to hear through them
