This was exactly the same for me. Every Manjaro install I had broke sooner or later because of these dependency issues. After my 3rd or 4th try, I decided to switch to EndeavorOS which is extremely stable for me and serves me well for a couple of years now.

I thought that too at first but this wasn’t the case. I bug is, that if a switch-event of these specific switches are routed through one of those plugs, the plug reacts to it, even though it is not addressed to it. So the behavior also changes over time, depending on where the events where are routed. They switched the correct target lamp as expected, but also random plugs on the way.

Yes! Absolutely the same for me. I also have ADHD and when living alone I had only one type of everything. Since my now wife and me live together, this it not the case anymore and, if I’m being honest, it sometimes stresses me out. It leads to so much distraction for me, that it makes cleaning and tidying up even harder for me than it already is.

I had a similar issue in the past. I’ve got a bunch of Ikea switches and Aqara Smart Plugs. At some point, using the switches also switched random plugs on and off without any automation set up for it. I wasn’t able to figure anything out through the logs and it drove me mad for weeks until I finally read that it’s due to a bug in the firmware of the plugs and Aqare couldn’t be bothered to fix it. I had to manually downgrade the firmware in order to get everything working again.

What you describe sounds very similar to what I experienced. Maybe have a look if that kind of bug was introduced recently for your devices too.

Did you test your gluetun setup manually and made sure it generally works (e.g. by setting up another container that is connected to gluetun, go into the shell and try to ping a public service, that you’re sure isn’t blocking requests from VPN users)?

If it does work and only qBittorrent can’t connect, it could be due to the trackers blocking VPN users. I’m not torrenting but I’ve read about that in the past.

I have a Garmin Fenix 7s. This watch also has torx screws on the back. I wear it day and night for 3-4 years now, even when working in the garden etc. and the screw heads are completely clean. So I don’t think it’s an issue.

If you get the Rambler, it has a flathead on the file and a philips on the combi tool thingy. This is the one I have on my keychain and it’s amazing. Of course it’s definitely not so robust as the 91mm models.

Yes, a lot of stuff is political but their AI loving dad being a fascist, or at least a supporter of fascists, is completely irrelevant regarding discussion about the ethical use of image generation. Same goes for the claim the left is done. It’s only and attempted ragebait and adds nothing. You can see it in so many places in the comments under various posts, which is annoying at times.

I can totally understand that. In case you still want to give it a chance, I can highly recommend EndeavorOS. It’s basically pre-styled, pure Arch. But it has a welcome dialog, where you have a warning banner at the top if you need to be careful regarding an update. This directly links you to their Gitlab and forum with the steps you’d need to take to not break anything. This saved me multiple times already and I never broke my system, despite not even reading the Arch RSS feed or changelogs.

Besides the EndeavorOS forum is waaaay friendlier compared to the Arch one.

Take your meds if you have them. And like others said, write yourself a protocol. I personally hate doing that but it’s the only way I can stay focused in a meeting. In addition to that, everything I don’t immediately write down, I’ll forget in the next few minutes. Everyone’s always amazed by how well I can recall details of past meetings, when it’s actually the opposite lol

You probably won’t gain much right now, but as the development on Organic Maps has stalled, you might encounter bugs not being fixed, no new features etc. If it stays like that, you’d probably want to switch at some point.

According to my wife, I do indeed have a decent amount of rope on my person. Though I don’t know how that has anything to do with entering the US, I’ll take the safe route and stay home.
