2·4 months agoDepending on how you were raised you might think that this class is living in luxury until you realize that your parents relied on tull time double income to make that middle class happen. Marketing for this class is horrible for fighting class divide. It gives the impression that wealth is achievable for everyone which is just a lie.

Unfortunately public life tends to rely more and more on Internet services. I think the right to remain offline needs to be established, otherwise there is no chance of checking out like that
Going off, chopping mountains, as one does. On a more serious note, are there examples of this? I only know of humans raising mountains and usually they’re not of the good kind.
Edit: It appears this is a thing humans are doing. And it looks just as horrific as I feared it might.

It’s not that i don’t like the concept but it only works if the contract allows you to fill out your timesheet truthfully. Otherwise it is just another bureaucratic burden.
Same, the first thing i did after seeing auto translated titles and descriptions was look for a way to turn it off. I like the option but this had me second guessing why I use their service at all

41·2 years agoUnfortunately Upvotes aren’t linked to the objective truthfulness of a statement. If they were, fake news wouldn’t be a thing.
Also, what is wrong about having an opinion based on a collection of shared articles. Sure they might be biased and some might even report more details than they have sources for but given enough randomly encountered articles some common truths can emerge.

I wish this would not have made sense to me, but I think I get what they are trying to say. Enough Internet for today, it makes me feel weird
