Just play OpenMW. It may not be “pretty” like the new Oblivion (and holy fuck, I don’t care, I have the original, why bother with the new one?), but OpenMW lets you play Morrowind on anything, including phones. It’s a complete and faithful recreation of the entire game and all you need are the original game resource files.

Glide straight down. Even the most controlled emergency landing is a near-disaster.

If my car fails, it’s on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. If I get hit by someone, or I hit someone, at least I can survive and that is significantly improved with the quality of my driving. If the plane fails, I’m fucking dead, end of fucking story.

Don’t give me this CARS ARE MORE DANGEROUS shit. And “odds” mean nothing because at any time the odds can fall against you. Odds aren’t a guarantee of “this has to happen X number of times in Y without fail”. Typical uneducated thinking.

Nope. It allows someone to use code without sharing the changes of that code. It enables non-free software creators like Microsoft to take the code, use it however they like, and not have to share back. This is what Free Software prevents.

So the notification that is in the browser that directs you to update it wasn’t enough? Because that totally works with the flatpak version of tor, because all the flatpak version of tor does is download a copy of the browser to your home directory and run it. There’s a little notification dot on the hamburger menu of tor that directs you to the about page where you can download and update.

Because that’s what I’ve been doing.

I use GOG to get away from downloading things in the context of a store and have a nice little archive of installers to use whenever I want it. I am trying to get as many Steam games to just be that way so when I run the binary it just works without Steam being involved at all. Laughably few will do it on their own but there are some ways around others…
