“Oh Comely” by Neutral Milk Hotel has a “holy shit” heard at the very end. It’s an 8+ minute song that Jeff Magnum nailed on what was supposed to just be a sound test before recording.

My favorite is “Stephen’s Last Night in Town” by Ben Folds Five. There’s a rising clarinet part that climbs to a climax with a brief pause at the peak and a phone rings in time and in key in the background during that pause.

Maybe I’m just getting old but the gameplay loop of Rockstar games has gotten tired. RDR2 was gorgeous but the mission formula was just so boring.

If I’m using the computer I’m in a program. If I’m not using it, it’s asleep. Don’t really get the point of anything other than solid black.

Seriously. I only finished the main Book of the Fallen series this early this year and just can’t get interested in anything else fantasy now.

It’s one thing to make you feel something when a character you’ve been with for 10 books dies, but when an author can do the same with a character you’re with for a handful of pages, it’s something else.

If I remember correctly, there was a glitch with Granny whatsherface that was causing the achievement to fail, even if you knocked her out.

I remember renting the NES version from the grocery store 30+ years ago. I remember the half pipe was a pain to control, BMX and Hacky Sack played well, and if you went over the top of the wave on surfing, the Jaws theme would play and a shark would show up. Can’t remember if that was every time or just occasionally.
