And yet there are still issues with Steam having a de facto monopoly on game distribution that often get overlooked.
Steam’s standard revenue share model takes a 30% cut of all game sales, a figure that has become industry standard but is increasingly scrutinized. For a game priced at $20, developers only see $14 before accounting for taxes and other expenses. This split can have profound implications for indie studios operating on tight budgets.
I think you might mistake the weirdly drawn blue trunk for a hood. The person driving also seems to be sitting front left, indicating the right direction of travel.

111·1 year agoAs I understand it the ban in France seems to specifically target real brands. So you can still show people drinking but you’re not allowed to show the logo of e.g. Heineken.
Is this a good regulation? I don’t know, but it might not be as arbitrary as the other comment suggested.

He has been posting comments about updating the app in the last couple of days. I really liked it and would probably give it another try, but having working spoiler tags is really neat and the main reason I switched.
Spoilers aren’t working.
The last lawnchair beta came out a few months ago. It’s been running really stable for me and I would recommend it.
Some fancy SSDs have additional DRAM cache:
The presence of a DRAM chip means that the CPU does not need to access the slower NAND chips for mapping tables while fetching data. DRAM being faster provides the location of stored data quickly for viewing or modification.

2·2 years agoEven though it might not be that important, I just wanted to say that I was wrong and that the first “Long Dark” is not finished. A DLC came out on the 2nd of December, but it’s not the last Episode of the Wintermute campaign. Just found out after starting the game again to finish it.
We aren’t saying too much more about BLACKFROST at this point, as we are focused on completing our obligations around THE LONG DARK 1.

Sorry, but I wanted to make a stupid “switcharoo” kind of joke that would imply a significant lack of personal hygiene on my part.
In German salad also means lettuce, so that’s why it wasn’t as clear as I wanted it to be.

The psittacosis pandemic of 1929-1930 would be my guess.
It was mentioned in the psittacosis article someone posted.

There are a lot of decent people working for the government that do an amazing job given the constraints they are put under.
But thank you for your nuanced take, I guess?
