47·10 days agoI’m honestly so sick of this sick world we live in. Lately it just seems like the veil has slipped and we can see how truly depraved the rich and powerful are and we are not able to do anything significant to change it.

Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Peter Thiel comes to Paris to speak about the AntichristEnglish
20·19 days agoWe all know that people who are poor and homeless are at much greater risk of mental health issues such as schizophrenia, I really wouldn’t be surprised if the same applies when you have too much money and become paranoid about various issues correlated to how you accumulated your wealth.

Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•This US naval communications station which was named after an Australian PM mysteriously went missing and was never seen again
5·1 month agoThis is based in a town called Exmouth in Western Australia. I believe the town was originally created due to the need to service US personnel and their families who were based out there in the 1960’s

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Apple forgot to disable production source maps on the App Store web app
14·3 months agoAI is still shit when it comes to obfuscated code. This is before it’s all been obfuscated and become unreadable.
I’ve tried using AI to handle obfuscated scripts and it makes way too many assumptions as to what the code is trying to achieve.
