  • No comments on the E-Files, just imagine how a normal person would projectile vomit thinking about any of those people being free.

My cat would have a more sensible argument! Catnip is more important than climate change. (This is irrelevant, my cat requested its inclusion)

“The liberal response” is information projected by corporations and media. Things like trying to make (poorly made) paper straws cool. Thats a media push. Not very many actual liberals think like that. A better method would be getting rid of Supertrawlers in international waters. Their nets make up most of the trash in our ocean. Ridiculous things like paper straws have a form of survivorship bias due to its …ridiculousness.

Make things like using heavy crude, supertrawlers, and government observation datacenters internationally illegal, with serious punishments like company dissolution, and long prison sentences that have no method of appeal. Pretty easy 3 to get rid of and it removes most gas/oil based pollution, most trash in the ocean, and every awful thing the government observation datacenters do. Clean water wasting, injury causing intense sound, energy grid destroying, town destroying… yeah government observation datacenters are great too.

I have a lot of that turned off, I hadnt realized it was such an issue to others. I guess I am pretty likely to fiddle with things.

Support of elgooG is a good reason to convert to another browser.

Cromite does sound more appealing now, I usually have around 50 tabs open, so I dont know how it would handle that. But its definitely worth my time to look into.

Thanks for an actual response! I will probably change my browser because of your recommendations and explanation of why those alternatives are better. I guess Ill do that during lunch or when I get home from work.

… Definitely looking up Floorp because it seems like a great thing to name a browser

Its more up to you to say what its problems are.

Claims need to be supported, you dont try to counter an unsubstantiated claim.

My claim: I have never had any ads on brave. Seems fine to me.

Claim of the poster: The creator of the browser is homophobic and apparently some people encounter advertisements.

Your claim, thusfar: How is it a good browser?

I will respond, assuming I understand your claim that has no supporting or explanatory statements: No ads.

Heres my response to the claim: Is the browser bad, or is the creator of the browser bad?

  • They have the ability to board US boats flying US flags in (and out) of US ports for the purpose of enforcing the law. Well, local law enforcement can, and specific government organizations. Not ICE, though. They arent a government organization that was created and fully defined by congress. Making a govt organization isnt snapping fingers and pouring money into a black hole.

Even if they were an organization with the required credentials to execute local, national, and maritime law, they didnt have a reason to attack anyone. Zilch.

  • No, they mean an idiot supporting this behavior because ICE did it. ICE did it so its legal!

I will say ships in US ports flying US flags are subject to our laws, but nothing justifies the psychotic brutality of the brownshirts. It may have been legal behavior, but the death penalty was also legal (nationally) at one point. Its about the weight of the response. We didnt use butterknives for executions, and people shouldnt be attacked, be forced to follow contradictory commands, strung in weird positions with zip ties, kidnapped and disappeared, etc. Being brown doesnt mean you should be slammed in a concentration camp ICE holding facility.

  • I do help, and have put my skin and reputation on the line in a deeply red district. I thought about running for Mayor and climbing the political ladder learning about my state before, but I suffered a serious life disabling traumatic brain injury. I dont think Im the best candidate for anything, but with that on top of it, I cant justify running for any office.

I have a very public-facing job and I am very outspoken about tax issues and things hurting us and helping the wealthy ridiculously (people only believe it when it happens to them, and taxes hit our lovely local racists too). Ive completely changed some minds, and Ive definitely changed how a fair few people look at Fox entertainment news. Socially speaking, I do have skin in the game.

I wish I could do more, but I legally cant drive, my eyes do not function properly, in-person speech is very difficult due to TBI induced stuttering and word recollection issues. I protest when I can, but I cant walk far without a cane, or at this point, a wheelchair, so its hard to go on my own.

I do spend a lot of time playing games, though. I wish I could walk farther and didnt have the health problems I have.
