it’s weird, and refreshing, to find someone who actually reads the article and don’t base his comments only on the header, and also provides some additional info.

That’s an optimistic timeframe if you want to use kde and firefox.

People blaming Kamala because her policies in some issues were not perfect, and thats why they dont vote for her. Now because of that you have the Superfragilenazipotusshit as President, he is surely doing much better than Kamala… Also, probably you are not having any more fair elections, now it’s gonna be all Russian style elections, unless there is some kind of uprising.
I hope I’m wrong on that, but I think I’m not.

I played on the C64, I was so high in the Ghostbusters theme, I loved the game, I even finished at least a couple of times. It has some light resource management, some light arcade ghost capture and it was fun, I had a fond memory of it.
I sometimes loaded the game just to watch the menu, where you have a ball that bounces over the lyrics of the song while it plays on the background.

It’s refreshing to read to someone that actually says “I was so wrong”
I was wrong also with systemd, I hated it mainly because I already knew init.d, where files are, where configs where etc. Some years later hate is gone, I’m not a power user, but I just now know how to handle my things with systemd and all is good.

I enjoyed the other game mentioned in the article, Strange Horticulture up to a point where it was too lineal or I stopped caring about it, because there were too many plants, cant remember why i didnt finish it This one looks promising for sure
First time I format the whole disk, all msdos data (games) lost. I managed to install it then I opened vim to edit a file and I couldn’t get out of vim I know it’s a cliche, but there is real. To get out I have to call a friend, using the landline, the one who lends me the floppy disks (or maybe it was magazine cd) and ask he how to get out, he says, just press Shift and Z twice.
Because you died? I’ve seen no other explanation.
I use arch btw

the World Trade Center

you name your servers with nuclear subs names?

Trying different distributions is a must on using Linux, I still remember my first one, Mandrake, and is not a happy memory. Now Arch is my master, to get here It was not an easy or direct ride, I tried several ones through the years until I find the light ;)
My only other browser is curl, does it works on that?

Not the end for me but inthat game the scene with the father and the son on the caravan… That was a river

you try to not play any arcade if you haven’t seen anyone else play first, that cost you money :) My experience with Dragons Lair is that it was a nice game to watch, and a bad game to play, it was expensive and as someone else said in the thread it requires you to memorize the movements, it was never random

If you have UEFI enabled, probably you also have secure boot. I did a script to create a usb pendrive that works with UEFI and Secure Boot, you can boot a liveusb Debian, Ubuntu or clonezilla at the moment
https://github.com/kabutor/liveusb
Edit: but I don’t think you can run memtestx86, last time I checked don’t have uefi support

Have this since first edition, a shame the only reprints we have are ks or deluxe editions, this game can be very cheap and doesn’t need a huge box

For Karl!
I read “a major shit”
