  • Next time you watch This Old House, pay close attention to that there’s far less consumer advertisements, just mere sponsors at the end of the content typically. Likewise, even when reviewing beverages like teas and coffees in Cook’s Country, the idea of being able to limit partiality is clearly drawn and established. We (the American people) might not be as attuned to whatever specific propagandas there are towards the American dream, although it’s far less than the advertisement slop that is the rest of television.

  • When the ‘fun’ side of reddit became unrecognizeable, then gradually after using Lemmy all I really do on Reddit is post in more useful places where I can share advice on chronic illness, and its really unfortunate there’s not much in comparison for communities here otherwise Reddit would be deleted already.

Political comments shouldn’t turn into vaguely threatening DMs, so many people on there nowadays need their teeth knocked out like some airpods for that shit.

Foot pulls are common in the US in places like McDonald’s, where it’s constantly been a struggle to keep all the self-ordering kiosks clean, as an employee I only touched it once a week and that was to clean it, and that’s when I realized it was the first thing in the uncleaned hands pipeline to be touched because of how dirty they were.
