Once upon a time :) there was a weekly thread way back in the day on Reddit about people showing their sketches done on the Galaxy Note 9 (android phone with a stylus).

Everyones like holy shit, thats good as people posted theirs. I jokingly posyed a poorly drawn stick figure. Someone commented that was about their ability back about a year ago, they then proceeded to ensure that every day they did a sketch getting better (Used Autodesk Sketchbook) and the stuff they then posted was incredible.

Moral of the story? I can’t play my banjo, harmonica, guitar or sketch worth shit becase I don’t have that discipline. 90% perspiration. Of course thw truly great sruff needs that extra 10% AS WELL. If you’re a muso you definetly can!

I relate this story as that post of theirs made me really think. Years later I have a Samsung S22u and still can’t sketch for shit :)

Support the artists ? Buying from Apple (or Amazon etc) sees you supporting Apple, supporting the publisher, the RIAA. The Artist is at the end of a long chain of grifters and middle men taking their pound of flesh… I’d love to support the artists, if I could donate directly to them. I don’t log in to YT to watch any videos, I alao use Newpipe and Stube sans account. Grouping them in Tabs to get to is great for me.

I find Edges grouped tabs well implemented, not sure why Firefox doesnt move this way natively?

Pretty much this but another point of difference with say the US is that (Utes) (trucks) in Australia would be classified as “cars” and not commercial vehicles. My 82yr old mother uses Signal on her iPad and iPhone to message me.

I don’t txt anyone, Signal for about 80%, 20% Telegram. I do receive a few SMS for 2FA , that’s it. My mother and sister use Signal on their iphones and tablets to message me as an example. I use Android. I’m in Australia though.

I swaped to Flauncher on my Shield as the Launcher. Need a few “do once” tricks to get there to/allow it though.
