To some degree you’re right, reading doesn’t make you intelligent in and of itself, but I do think constantly reading like that does make you to some degree smarter. Like even if you’re reading slop, you’re probably smarter than if you had been reading nothing.
It has also been proven that reading makes you more empathetic, because you are actively putting yourself in the character’s headspace.

I get it, just maybe look into things a bit before just labeling someone a bigot. To be fair you can be both gay and homophobic, I just don’t think that’s the case here, he’s just an edgelord. He also said this when he was like 18 and as far as I remember he hasn’t used the f-slur in his newest records.

I was talking to a woman last night, we were having a good conversation and I was thinking of asking for her number. Then when I brought up how a lot of kids would probably be dying soon because of the “vaccine shit going on in our country”, she took that as me giving the anti-vax position and complained that she had been forced to get the Covid vaccine. It made me completely lose interest, not going to willingly date a moron. She was in the medical industry too so she should have known better.

The fact that no one has said the Venture Bros. yet proves it’s the correct answer.
I have watched and loved a lot of the shows other people have brought up, but the Venture Bros. holds a very special place in mine and other people’s hearts. Incredibly funny and intelligent, and I genuinely cared about the characters and what happened to them. I firmly believe it will likely be the greatest show Adult Swim ever produce.
For those trying to get into it, the first season is a little slow, they were still figuring things out, but season 2 onwards is all incredible.
Love that show, but that was MTV. Their other series, Xavier, was on Adult Swim though.
