But in the grand scheme of things, women have it bad everywhere, and the means of oppression are culture-bound.

I live in a western country with a big Muslim community. Most of the women who cover their hair do it out of their own free choice, because its part of their culture, just like western women do their own women-specific things

My exact thoughts as well. The two images together might be funny, but underneath is someone who used their hands to lock that door and then decided to take a picture of the crying girl instead of helping her out. That’s fucked up.
