My email is the only account that isn’t in my password manager. It is by far the most important account because basically all of my other passwords can be changed if someone has my email. My password manager password and my email password are the only 2 I have to remember, and they are both very strong passwords. Remembering 2 strong passwords isn’t much harder than remembering 1 to me.

9·2 years agoI find it fascinating that electricity is fast enough that this is a thing. You would never get this wrong with water, and if you did things wouldn’t work right, but electricity is basically instant.

91·2 years agoI’d rather the five released ASOIAF stay as they are, perpetually unfinished than anything close to the hatchet job that was the GoT show ever be released in book. For me, sometimes just finishing isn’t enough. The books > than the show 10,000 times.

10·2 years agoI think all you need to know about this guy is the Vatican asked him to resign a few days ago and he said no. You do not say to no to that sort of thing! He absolutely knew they would remove him and instead of going quietly he said no to make it a big thing. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him running for office, or starting his own break off sect of “true Catholics” soon. Good riddance.

10·2 years agoGeraldine Largay, “Inchworm”, was a hiker who went missing off the Appalachian Trail in Maine and died in 2013. It took two years for them to find her body, and it was found only a couple of miles from the trail. Those woods are so thick. If he’s dead if could be a long time until he is found.
