Do you think we will ever be told what the economic benefit is predicted to be, and then the actual number?

I have free long distance to Mexico, US and Canada with 50GB for $29 including taxes. (Public Mobile). Sasktel can’t come close.

I think a couple of things can be true at the same time. Long term, high speed rail is a good thing. Also true is this project will definitely be vastly over budget. I would just like to see some concrete data to let us know the planners have actually looked at the factors.

Huge decrease in mail delivery over the last 5 years. Number of pieces of mail delivered to homes has gone from 372 in 2006 to 131 in 2024 (Canada Post data).

Nice! Thanks!

In those cases, the market decides. Just look at Target, The Bay, Eatons etc. With all of those failures, the taxpayer wasn’t on the hook for any of it.

Not sure if you have access to the pipes leading to the shower, but the droplet does what you’re looking to do.

Interesting viewpoint. I don’t agree, but we’ll see how that goes. I think Canadians would be open to more socialism, but in very focused areas.

Colonization is not genocide. You won’t find a definition anywhere that says it is.

What’s your opinion of the Oct 7 attack where children and babies were killed. Israeli’s were taken hostage and tortured in gazan tunnels. Didn’t happen?

Talk about tough love, amirite?

Do you know why the Golan Heights is occupied by Israel?
Israel occupied the Golan Heights during the 1967 Six-Day War, primarily for strategic military reasons and national security concerns. Historical Context The Golan Heights, a strategically significant plateau, was captured by Israel from Syria during the Six-Day War in June 1967. This conflict involved Israel and several Arab nations, including Syria, Egypt, and Jordan. The area was of military importance due to its elevated position, which allowed for surveillance and artillery fire into northern Israel and surrounding regions. Following the war, the Golan Heights was placed under Israeli military administration, and settlers began to move into the area shortly thereafter. Wikipedia +2

Ooh. A post about reality regarding attacks on Israel. That’s not going to go well.

It’s not going to help me whatsoever. It only helps the elites from Ontario and Quebec.

It’s going to add $8,000 debt to every family in Canada.

Good! This is the correct response.

You mean the proposal from Harper that was lambasted by the Liberals and the union?
Considering Canada Post is billions in debt partly because Canadians no longer care or use the service needs to be addressed. Is it an essential service if no one cares?

Will Lewis bring the NDP back from the wilderness? Can he win seats?
With current estimates at 23%-29% of Albertans supporting separatism, what do you think the most appropriate response would be? That’s a lot of people to just ignore. Would there be any value in understanding the major drivers for supporting separatism, and addressing those where it makes sense?
