This is the fastest story I’ve read.
It seems there’s even a mysterious (much) shorter other sf story, but it sucks: its just one letter (F, iirc). I don’t remember well the concept, just that its not interesting at all.

I didn’t know who Michael Blake was, but if that’s a pen name, it’s not Robert Jordan’s.
