Happened to me when I saw a book on the US site, I wasn’t able to see all reviews, but there was a button to sort-of “apply” to get approved for seeing all of them.
It took five days, then I got this email.
Interestingly, they’re not doing this on the European site, you can still see all reviews there.

I don’t know why this is so hard for people to understand.
when sites do shit like this, I would buy whatever I was looking from other site/store
I only ever used Amazon for buying books. Now I’ve switched to booksellers dot ca or Indigo. In that order, because booksellers supports independent stores.
Powell’s also has new & used options.
I’m Canadian, so I’m doing the Elbows Up thing wherever possible. Still, a good alternative for US citizens to support local, and take money away from corporations who support the Mango Megalomaniac.
Don’t use Amazon in the first place
They’ve been doing this for years. Probably 8 at least.
But I guess never in the US? I’ve never saw it happen.
