That’s possibly the best use of a transporter on the entire franchise.
Quick, someone call Q and have him transport O’Brien to the Delta Quadrant.
Janeway is a monster and Tuvix was more interesting than either of his bland ass component characters.
Janeway had a duty to recover her crewmen. If Tuvok and Neelix both wanted to be recombined into Tuvix, they could have.

Tuvix was still not interesting enough for me. Maybe if they added more crew members Lower Decks style…
Any situation where Neelix is out of the picture is a net positive imo.
They fucken gave Kes 11th hour magic powers and then she LEFT.
It’s like one day your dog just starts talking. Then the very next day it runs away, leaving you alone with your shittier NON-TALKING dog.
