Several of the letters repeat though, they’re just not put in the same order.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•I want to attend therapy for the first time! What are some things I should know before signing up?English
2·4 months agoThat does make sense, I’ve had a therapist who only helped in “big picture” ways as well. The workbook sounds promising though! I hope that goes well for you.
No worries, I do it too sometimes! If it’s any consolation, your comment was interesting and didn’t come off as rambling. Thanks for sharing!

1·4 months agoI think your first point isn’t an issue with a really good therapist, but I’ve had therapists who needed that level of detail from me. With my current one, I told him the symptoms I have that I want to go away and he’s been tackling it from all sides so we can find the issues together (and it’s working well). I do agree with your second point, but many therapists advertise the things they specialize in like anxiety, identity issues, sexual issues, etc. I went based off this and found who I needed without much issue.

There’s no voiceover, no clickbait, no intro or outro, just an engineer building absurd Lego machines to overcome set challenges. The quality and entertainment are top tier.
This is actually true. I went to an expensive Christian private school (it was awful) where I became friends with his granddaughter. According to her, he thought Chuck Norris jokes were hilarious. One time, he even showed up for grandparents’ day and he handed out little baseball card-like signed pictures of himself. He was also much shorter than I expected.

17·6 months agoWhen we first got married, instead of calling me “hubby” she called me “hooby”. So I started calling her “wief” (rhymes with reef), which lead to “leafy wief”, and now it’s just “leafy”. It’s become an inside joke and it’s stuck.

The fee ranges from $149 to $2,495, that’s ridiculous! For $50 I’ll let you choose the national thing of the day. If your friends ask for proof, they can text me and I’ll check the notes in my phone and tell them it’s National Hug A Feral Raccoon Day or whatever.
